In my opinion, books are the best accessory.

Styling Librarian Oregon Occurrences Year 1 Week 5 Oregon Coast Visit

Walking

Walking

This summer and free time has just zipped by. We’ve had a wonderful time enjoying family and friends but we haven’t adventured too much… so we made up for it within a short amount of time by going to the Oregon Coast… My sister suggested we visit Hug Point and we were so glad we took her advice. What a beautiful beach it was, plus there was a fun tunnel to walk through and a cave to explore… What a fun place to simply walk around and relax.

We also visited a restaurant in Cannon Beach called The Lumberyard Grill and Rotisserie, yum to that place! They also had wonderful accommodation for dogs- seating outside with water bowls and dog cookies, exactly what we needed for our sweet dog.

We headed to Manzanita and enjoyed meeting up with family… hooray for time at another beach and a little relaxation time. We headed home and hoped to eat at a restaurant called Camp 18 but it was just a little too crowded with a long wait time, so that will be another visit.

Nice to have the time to just relax. Note to self for next time: don’t forget a dog bowl and treats, pack a few extra snacks, pack a few extra towels, and leave a little earlier…

If you are ever up for an island experience in Pudget Sound, we have room and a gorgeous view of Colvos Passage.

That would be quite a special destination trip! 🙂 Shall chat when we have time for adventuring.
