In my opinion, books are the best accessory.
I blogged about my experience going through the wonderful workshop I attended in Macau called Engaging Tech. This post connects to that trip. My wonderful friend Megan and I decided it would be smart to travel to the conference the evening before to avoid getting up at 4/5am to get there on time the following day…
It was a lovely week before the conference, didn’t take many pictures. When Megan and I arrived in Macau we were mighty hungry but we made sure to settle into the hotel room first. Then after we wandered about checking on restaurants, a woman who was passing out fliers got us to follow her all over the huge hotel we were staying at. We ended up out past the swimming pools and then found out we were at a buffet bbq restaurant that had just opened. Fascinating place. We did not mean to go to a buffet dinner but we made the most of it.
The following week was a little active with a commitment to present with a dear friend about Author Inquiries (here’s our presentation- ).
I also committed to volunteering at a Tournament of the Minds which was quite an inspiring day. I met up with a few friends and walked over to Hong Kong Central library, it was really cool to find out about the newspaper level that had newspapers in so many languages including a variety of US selections. Happy day to feel a little at home.
Thanks for visiting with our little Hong Kong adventure. I’m a little shocked that in 8 weeks, we are going to be back in the US. Looking forward to being home. Will miss Hong Kong, but in anticipation of the move presently.
