In my opinion, books are the best accessory.
Here’s my Whatever Wednesday Randomness:
My mom sent me this link:
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/how-a-monkey-helped-launch-chinas-conservation-movement/ which introduced a topic I hadn’t heard anything about… it was fascinating- a photographer who caught on film a species of monkey, the Yunnan Snub Nosed Monkey that barely anyone had heard about before and helped pave the way to conservation movements in China.
I appreciate when there’s action like this… plus it is inspiring as well to learn about someone who would commit to studying these monkeys and get others to do so as well!
I look forward to watching the documentary of this on PBS Nature…
I’ve never seen a monkey like this with big pink lips and a little tiny nose… fascinating to look at let alone learn about- Go to the website above for a picture and more information.
Here’s one other video:
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Thank you again to “Eat the Book” for the Whatever Wednesday meme: http://mretome.wordpress.com David Etkin’s words: “Whatever Wednesday — a chance to post something I’ve seen that I’m diggin’. A cool quote or poster, a picture, student work, a video—you know, Whatever. Enjoy!… and consider posting your own Whatever.”
