In my opinion, books are the best accessory.
A friend and I decided we deserved lunch out and were hoping to go to one restaurant and when we got there, the long line was a deterrent which led us to try a new to us Japanese restaurant called Hana. It was a fun place with a variety of choices for food… Snapped a few pictures from it…
Walking back home we passed the protest barricades in Causeway Bay. It is now two months of this occupy protest with three areas still occupied although one of the areas is a little contentious at the moment.
Our family had two big before/afters this week.
First off, our kiddo went to a two night overnight camp at Sai Kung where he experienced camping with some good buddies, dragon boat team, and kayaking in addition to some team building activities.
Secondly, our sweet dog had a big growth on her back leg that worried us. So, after two vet appointments, we scheduled a surgery for it. She wasn’t thrilled with the Elizabethan collar and actually figured out how to get it off, at 2:00am in the morning one night. We put a long sock on her instead that actually worked much better and we think it was less stressful for her. She is an older dog- 14 years old – so we were told to not give her water the morning of the operation since she was “geriatric”… thankfully she got through the surgery without complications and after telling us all about it for hours, was a little disturbing whine. Happy to have our dog healing.
