In my opinion, books are the best accessory.
Final post about my wonderful sister’s visit. Again, feel so blessed we had this opportunity to spend time together. So the last bit of time together had us hopping on a bus to visit the Peak and having lunch up there… There were fantastic views up there but they were obscured by pollution… but we made the best of it. Funny since the sky has been beautiful for days here in Hong Kong now, a little late but appreciated.
We rode the Peak Tram down and then wandered around Central for a while. Tiring walks led to a few rest stops on our adventure from getting snacks and gelato to makeup shopping…
Rachel tried out the steam foot place and enjoyed it although we missed out on getting a massage.
We hopped on the Star Ferry and went on a nice walk along the waterfront in TST- Tsim Sha Tsui. We wandered around their new Christmas display (Hong Kong begins Christmas celebrations on November 1st.) Energy lasted only so far until we headed back home.
Our last bit of time was close by the apartment again. We went to Tin Hau/Tai Hang area, stopping on the way at a fun shop. We visited a new coffee shop/restaurant called Hello Kitty Secret Garden and loved all the special treats and ambiance. (Rachel and I are both big Hello Kitty fans…)
On our walk home, we stopped in another area of Causeway Bay and found a few shops we were entertained at…
We enjoyed quality family time and then had to say goodbye…
