The Styling Librarian

In my opinion, books are the best accessory.

Styling Librarian #WhateverWednesday Waste Free Opportunities

Today’s focus: Waste Free Opportunities – It is fun to reflect on one thing each week that really catches my attention, entertains me, and is special enough I just have to share it with the world.

Here’s my Whatever Wednesday Randomness:

I mentored a group of ambitious boys who wanted to raise awareness of food waste in Hong Kong for Exhibition with my Year 6 team this year. I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. Honestly, I’m a little obsessed. I recently saw two things that I wanted to share with anyone who is kind enough to read this blog:

1. Waste Free Restaurant – LOVE THE NAME: Sandwich Me In – boy I wish I lived closer…

2. Waste Free Supermarket:- once again, boy, I wish I lived closer! http://www.gizmag.com/original-unverpackt-germany-waste-free-supermarket/32376/

Original Unverpackt – Der neue Supermarkt from Original Unverpackt on Vimeo.

What great opportunities for the future we have when there are people taking this action! Love it!

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Thank you again to “Eat the Book” for the Whatever Wednesday meme: http://mretome.wordpress.com David Etkin’s words: “Whatever Wednesday — a chance to post something I’ve seen that I’m diggin’. A cool quote or poster, a picture, student work, a video—you know, WhateverEnjoy!… and consider posting your own Whatever.”
