Part 2 Visit:
We finally visited Disneyland! This visit was much anticipated by my son for quite some time and we were able to have initiative to visit with the help from a special friendly visit from a family from my old hometown of Anchorage… although now she and I have been away from Alaska for numerous years.

Disneyland in Hong Kong hasn’t been promoted as much as other Disneylands… but it certainly was fun to visit.

Disneyland visit day 1!

Disneyland visit day 1!

We visited various areas of Disneyland throughout a lovely, long day.

We were most surprised to enjoy Mystic Manor, Grizzly Gulch, and Philharmagic. Since we lowered expectations, we were pleasantly surprised by the entertainment those rides provided.

I enjoyed visiting an area of Hong Kong, Sham Shui Po, with my friend Erika to learn about her favorite places to shop and browse for bargains, etc. I honestly hit the overwhelmed stage after visiting numerous shops and learned how I can find buttons, beads, ribbons, toys, clothing, and a few yummy treats.

A little more of It's A Small World

A little more of It’s A Small World

We decided to visit Disneyland HK for a second time, it was entertaining and ever so efficient. Three hours into the second day we’d seen most of what we wanted. I personally was thrilled to go on the It’s a Small World ride. Didn’t realize I was sad to miss it the first day we visited, but it was fun to go through the ride!

A little glimpse of food during our past week that we enjoyed… quite delicious prospects throughout.

Overall images, happy holidays everyone. I decided collage pictures were the only way to limit myself after taking 200 pictures during the week.
