In my opinion, books are the best accessory.

Styling Librarian Recommendation Bookmarks

Holder for bookmarks I found…

Recently, I had numerous students finish a favorite series and ask for recommendations for other books. My assistant and I had aspirations for creating new genre posters with recommendations for various books but realized that creating a bookmark might be an appealing alternative.

I created new readers advisory bookmarks for my students who need ideas for similar books to their favorites.

I was quite grateful to find this webpage: – really connected well with our idea and helped me think of how to set up bookmarks in different ways and also be as simplistic as possible.

The first one I worked on was book recommendations similar to Jacqueline Wilson’s style.

There are always great sites as well, just trying to provide a quick recommendation source. Sometimes it is helpful to refer students to a bookmark on hand versus sending students to a webpage. I already provide some recommendations online here:…

Special note- wow, all the bookmarks in three categories/containers have disappeared within a few days!

This is the time of year I’m desperately trying to update my summer reading recommendations after a year filled with fantastic books. Here’s a wonderful ” if you enjoyed… you might also like…” list. I’m sharing this one with my families.
