In my opinion, books are the best accessory.

My Father’s Dragon by Ruth Stiles Gannett – fantasy – I tried to read this book with my son a few years ago. We’re going to try it again. I love revisiting books with my son. This will be a fun re-read for me as well…

Goodreads Summary: “When Elmer Elevator hears about the plight of an overworked and underappreciated baby flying dragon, he stows away on a ship and travels to Wild Island to rescue the dragon.”

I usually read my Father’s Dragon to my second grade class and they always love it. My son loved it too when he was little. It has stood the test of time. Great little adventure story.
